RASL
RASL is Rotterdam Arts and Sciences Lab. Codarts Rotterdam, Arts & Culture Studies (EUR), Erasmus University College (EUR) and Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam are collaborating more intensively and joined forces in the Rotterdam Arts and Sciences Lab (RASL).
We intend our collaboration to, firstly, advance the exchange of knowledge on education and research. And secondly, to offer students the possibility to develop their skills in accordance with the changing artistic professional practices and societal issues.

Erasmus University College (EUC) is the international honour’s college of Erasmus University, offering intense multi-disciplinary education. Founded in 2013, this liberal arts college and the student housing are located in metropolitan Rotterdam. The selective and residential character of EUC attributes to a close-knit academic community in which the students live and study together.
Willem
de Kooning Academy
The Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences presents itself as a cradle for creating pioneers. The speed and complexity of technological and cultural developments strongly influence contemporary and future practices in art and design. Therefore the professional world is looking for young creatives with a multitude of talents and skills, the ones who look beyond the borders of their original disciplines: creating pioneers. Pioneers because they’re not trained to reproduce what already exists, but to put the future applications and techniques into practice right now.
Codarts
Codarts Rotterdam trains talented and driven dancers, musicians and circus performers to become dedicated and inspiring artists, leaders and facilitators, ready to spread their wings in a dynamic, international context. The university has about 1,000 students, of 50 nationalities and around 340 staff members.
